On Thursday June 19, 2008 units from KSP DESI West, KSP Drug Task Force, and KSP post 1 executed a search warrant at 1738 County Road 1024 in Cunningham, Ky. Upon execution of the search warrant detectives discovered sophisticated indoor marijuana grow operation and video surveillance equipment. The search yielded 1 gram of crystal methamphetamine, 92 marijuana plants, 9 firearms, and indoor grow equipment.

Shawn Gourley, 35, of Cunningham was arrested and charged with Cultivating Marijuana Over 5 Plants, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Ballard County Jail.
